Sara Hillyard is a proud Pennsylvania native and a U.S. Army veteran of Operation New Dawn, bringing a unique blend of personal experience and professional dedication to her role as Outreach Coordinator for Pawsitive for Heroes. This impactful nonprofit is committed to supporting veterans nationwide by providing service dogs and crucial resources for long-term well-being.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Sara's commitment extends beyond her primary role. She is a valuable volunteer with our organization, leveraging her extensive experience in fostering community among nonprofits and connecting individuals to vital physical, emotional, and social resources. Sara also actively volunteers with local adaptive golf programs and serves the unhoused community in her region, reflecting her deep passion for hands-on, inclusive service.
