Marty Turcios' Adaptive Golf Clinics take place every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Augusta's number one full-service driving range, Wedges and Woods Golf Center.

 

Our clinics provide medically relevant therapeutic recreation through golf, utilizing the latest high-tech equipment, at no cost to participants.

Participants

With the help of volunteer coaches, the clinics are meant for individuals who have experienced life-changing or acute illnesses or injuries, including:

​

  • Limited mobility due to age

  • Joint injuries or post-surgery limitations

  • Spinal cord injuries

  • Brain injuries

  • Other mobility and sensory impairments

Adaptive Golf Clinic

Equipment

We use three types of adaptive carts and paramobiles that enable wheelchair users to stand while playing.

 

Automatic ball setters promote independence on the driving range for individuals with disabilities.

 

A variety of grip and club options is available to meet diverse needs.
